The immediately preceding comments were based on testing using JRE 1.4.0_01. I just retested with JRE 1.4.1_02, and I found that while there was some improvement in the behavior of unsigned applets, the browser still hangs when a SIGNED applet tries to print (and the action is initiated via a LiveConnect call to the Java applet).
By following the procedure for signing applets, I was able to create the following: 1. A jar file containing, or refering to my applet 2. A security certificate 3. A signed applet What I want to know know is: HOW DO I USE THESE? i.e. How do I now call my signed applet from a HTML (or preferably ASP)? Is there a special syntax that I have to follow? Hi, I am attempting to instanciate and call MolConverter.Builder from my Java Applet when Marvin Beans is installed on the client computer. My goal is to integrate with the allready installed Marvin Beans on the computers from my Applet.
